1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser. Similar technologies, such as pixels and tags, are small pieces of code that send information about your visit to us or to another company. In this policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies.

Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by companies whose services we use, such as Google and Meta.

3. Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies keep our websites secure and working. They let you sign in and stay signed in, protect against attacks, remember your cookie choices, and process payments. They do not require your consent, and you cannot switch them off through our cookie settings.

Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics. They help us understand how visitors use our consumer website, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from, so we can improve it. They are used only on our consumer website, and only if you allow them.

Advertising cookies are set by the Meta Pixel on our consumer website. They record your visit and actions such as viewing a product or making a purchase. We use them to measure our ads on Meta and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. Google and Meta may use the information their tools collect for their own purposes, under their own privacy policies. Neither receives location, driving or vehicle data from our trackers.

5. Your choices

  • Cookie banner. When you first visit our consumer website at periva.app, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies. If you decline, we do not set them. You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in that site's footer. On periva.io and the platform there is nothing to accept or decline, because we set strictly necessary cookies only; the notice here simply tells you they are in use.
  • Your Privacy Choices. US residents can use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of periva.app to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. Some US state laws treat analytics and advertising cookies from third parties as a sale or sharing of personal information, and we give this choice to everyone. Neither periva.io nor the platform sells or shares personal information in that sense.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of analytics and advertising cookies for that browser.
  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of our websites, including signing in to the platform, will not work.
  • Google and Meta settings. You can also manage how Google and Meta use your information through your Google account settings, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and your Meta ad preferences.

6. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
